An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Manager to join our Land Rover Dealership in Hereford.
Hours of work are 08:00 - 18:00, Monday to Fridays and one in 4 Saturdays 9:00 - 13:00.
The Workshop Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop, liaising between Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently.
Description Managing the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
Manage a team of Technicians ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner.
Manage the performance of the workshop to ensure that KPI targets are achieved.
Manage and plan workshop / support resources to ensure that work requirements are fulfilled.
Support the service department with specifications and coding of non-standard, complex jobs and ensure all such work is approved with customers prior to any work being started.
Manage the handover of complex or potentially contentious jobs (invoices, claims) to ensure full buy-in and agreement from the customer (Retail or Internal.)What we're looking for: This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked within a dealership as either a Trainee Workshop Controller, Experienced Workshop Foreman or Experienced Workshop Controller and are looking to Listers for more opportunities to progress.
