We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Mercedes Benz Dealership in Lincoln. The hours of work are between 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with a day off in the week and working every other Saturday. Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £80,000.
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customers' expectations; in essence, you will ensure that our customers' buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively.
To support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation whilst ensuring that stock is kept to the company's agreed levels. By driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products, to ensure budgetary sales/profit forecasts are achieved.
Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Making sure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations).
About youYou may be an existing sales manager, sales controller or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities. You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPIs and brand standards.
You must be able to demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition, you need to have strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality and a real passion for the brand. Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
