Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am - 1:00pm
- 40‑hour working week
The Role
As a Diagnostic / Master Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Working with the latest Audi diagnostic technology, you will identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring vehicles perform at their very best. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, providing technical expertise, supporting workshop efficiency, and helping to maintain the high standards our customers expect.
What We Are Looking For
You will be a skilled Diagnostic / Master Technician with a passion for automotive technology, and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Role And Responsibilities
- Servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
- Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
- Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles such as use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems.
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Understand the impact of Customer Satisfaction on the business.
- Operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e. CitNOW.
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Work closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
About You
- Experience working as a Master or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer.
- Hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK Driving licence.
