Job Introduction
Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Volkswagen Commercial Coventry. You will work Monday – Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis. Various working patterns are available to support your work-life balance.

- The basic salaries start from Β£32,000 up to Β£45,000
- Bonus / OTEβs range from Β£35,000 up to Β£48,000

Role And Responsibilities
- Responsible for servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles, ensuring high standards are met on the first attempt.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
- Additional responsibilities include repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
- Ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- Operate systems like video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Collaborate with team members to learn and share knowledge.
About You
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
- Backgrounds from independent garages, fast fit centers, car supermarkets, or main dealers are all welcome.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; working towards completion is acceptable.
- MOT License is beneficial but not essential.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a commitment to high standards. Training and facilities are available to support your career growth.
