Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Sales Executive (Brand Specialist) to join our Volvo Dealership in Leamington Spa.
The working hours are Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working Sundays on a rota basis (8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays).

As a Trainee Sales Executive, also known as a Volvo Brand Specialist, you'll receive comprehensive training and support to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required to progress into a successful Sales Executive role.
As part of the sales team, you'll engage customers with the latest Volvo products and technologies, creating an outstanding first impression and delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

- Role and Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a positive, customer-focused sales environment.
- Welcoming and assisting customers via telephone, walk-in enquiries, email and Live Chat.
- Building rapport with customers, understanding their needs and guiding them through the Volvo product range with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations of Volvo vehicles and technology.
- Organising photography of used vehicles for internet advertising and assisting with vehicle preparation for customer handovers.
- Supporting the Sales Executives by following up customer enquiries, prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Learning how to present finance and additional products in line with customer needs and company processes.
- Ensuring all customer and vehicle information is accurately recorded in line with FCA and data protection requirements.
- Promoting the value of new and used vehicles in line with Listers and Volvo trading policies.
- Delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction throughout every stage of the customer journey.
- Developing the skills and experience needed to progress into a Sales Executive position.
About You
- You don't need previous motor trade or sales experience; however, you will have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people.
- This role would suit someone from a retail, hospitality, leisure or customer service background who is looking to build a long-term career in sales.
- You will be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with customers.
- A positive attitude with the drive to develop your skills and achieve personal and team goals.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Hold the potential to forge a successful career within the motor industry.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Previous automotive experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing development will be provided.
