Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Retail Manager to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Stratford‑upon‑Avon.
The working hours are Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working Sundays on a rota basis (8:30 to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 5pm on Sundays).
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £62,200.
Role and Responsibilities
Within each of our dealerships we have specialists who can guide and offer customers comprehensive support in all of their vehicle financing and insurance requirements.
As a Retail Manager with Listers you will grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance and value‑added products. You will be at the core of customer enquiries and assist in developing the sales team.
- Discuss the financial requirements of our customers.
- Advise customers on finance, insurance, warranties and other services offered by our dealerships.
- Ensure customers have a clear understanding of obligations they are entering into.
- Work closely with members of the sales team and provide coaching and assistance.
- Propose financial agreements to our nominated lenders.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and FCA compliant.
About You
- Either an existing retail manager, sales manager, sales controller or someone looking for their first step into management.
- You are confident in discussing and identifying individual/company requirements.
- Have an outstanding record of sales achievement with exceptional finance sales performance.
- Highly organised to ensure that all company, manufacturer, and finance house paperwork is correct and FCA compliant.
- Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
