Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Porsche Dealership in Hull. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, as well as Saturdays on a rota basis.

Salary includes a basic salary plus a monthly bonus, with an OTE of £28,500.

A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service and our customers. You will be directly involved in supplying Porsche parts to the general public, trade customers and our own workshops. This role would perfectly suit a highly - motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service for one of the world’s leading car brands.

Role And Responsibilities

  • The work is diverse, and you’ll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving our customers.
  • You will be responsible for pre-picking parts for the workshop job cards, picking parts for customer orders and checking availability of stock from various enquiries.
  • Through in-bound and out-bound telephone enquiries, walk in customers, and internet enquiries you will be developing customer relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression.
  • Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments as well as our trade/retail customers.
  • Handles warranty claims processing (relating to parts issues) and completes all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing).
  • You’ll develop knowledge of our premium Porsche products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function.

About You

  • We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a parts advisor within a dealership or you will have gained motor factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company.
  • However, if you have a good understanding of cars & the ability to learn, we are happy to train the right candidate.
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • You should be proactive; sales driven and maintain an outstanding level of customer service.
  • You must have excellent communication & organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional individual who is able to work towards tight deadlines.
