Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers Audi Coventry. The role involves assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30‑17:00, with a rota basis for Saturdays. Our packages and pay plans are industry‑leading and reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset. We offer an excellent basic salary, with uncapped OTE of £37,000 plus benefits. Role and Responsibilities
- The main responsibilities include MOT Testing.
- You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
- You will complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- You will work closely with other workshop team members to continually learn and share knowledge.
- You will work within the DVSA framework.
- You will understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- You will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and the Ministry of Transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA, with an up‑to‑date annual training record and passed assessment.
- Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations are beneficial but not essential; brand training will be provided.
- Experience meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality.
- Full driving licence.
