- Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a
- Vehicle Technician to join our
- Mercedes Benz dealership in
Hull . The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, as well as working Saturdays on a rota basis.

Basic Salary up to £35,000 with OTE up to £46,000 plus benefits.

- Role And Responsibilities
- Technicians are responsible for servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
- The main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
- Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment and focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs and control systems.
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment as required.
- Understand the importance of customer satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- Operate additional systems, such as video reporting via Cit NOW.
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Collaborate closely with other workshop team members to continually learn and share knowledge.
About You
- We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
- Experience in independent garages, fast-fit centres, car supermarkets or main dealers is welcomed.
- At minimum, you hold or are working towards completion of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- An electric and hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A MOT licence is beneficial but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and the ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard will allow us to help you advance your career.
