Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Land Rover Hereford. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (43.5 hours per week). We offer industry-leading basic salaries & bonuses, reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset. Basic salaries start from: £30,000 - £45,000. Bonus / OTE range: £39,000 - £51,000.

Role And Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and diagnose all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring work is done to the highest standard first time.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
- Repair and maintain EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Understand customer satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- Operate additional systems such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW), with proper training.
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Collaborate with workshop team members to learn and share knowledge.
About You:
- Experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
- Experience working in independent garages, fast-fit centres, car supermarkets, or main dealerships.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or working towards it.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
- MOT license is beneficial but not essential.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with a commitment to high standards of work.
