We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Audi Dealership in Worcester. You will work Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week, and Sundays on a rota. Hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sundays. Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £86,000.

The successful candidate will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve sales targets for new and used cars within defined operating and financial guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations to ensure an industry-leading buying experience.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
  • Support the sales team in daily operations, including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, and vehicle preparation, while maintaining stock levels.
  • Drive the sales process and support the team in achieving monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to meet sales and profit forecasts.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and provide reports on sales activities, ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
  • Ensure the sales team collects all customer contact and vehicle data accurately to maximize the quality of the customer database, adhering to FCA obligations.
About You

You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller, or retail manager seeking new challenges or better career opportunities. You will have the drive and talent to advance the department, achieving KPIs and brand standards. You must have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer satisfaction. Strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a passion for the brand are essential. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership sector is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
