We are currently seeking a Trainee SMART Repair Technician, to be based at our Lexus dealership in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to forge a career in the automotive repair industry. You may have some experience through work or a college course, but are looking to Listers for better career and training opportunities. Full training will be provided to learn the skills of the role from the grass roots up as part of our internal training programme.
Within the New Lexus Workshop in Coventry we are fitting a new state of the art SMART repair paint facility with excellent working conditions. The role and responsibilities include:
- Repairing minor accident damage including bumper scuffs, panel scratches, fill and paint, interior plastics, alloy wheels and all other minor cosmetic repairs.
- Pre-paint preparation.
- Detailing prior to customer collection.
- Liaising with work colleagues to help ensure efficient vehicle repairs.
What we’re looking for:
This role would ideally suit someone who is in the early stages of their career in automotive repair, or has relevant Bodyshop qualifications but is looking for their first career move. However, experience isn’t essential as long as you are capable of very high quality work. A full, clean driving licence is essential. The successful candidate will have a good attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
