Vehicle Technician

• Service, repair, and diagnose all vehicles in the workshop to the highest standard on the first attempt.




• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air-conditioning servicing.




• Handle maintenance and repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment to work on battery systems, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.




• Install manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.




• Understand and contribute to Customer Satisfaction metrics and their impact on the business.




• Operate additional systems such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).




• Complete all mandatory service paperwork to meet manufacturer and brand standards.




• Collaborate with workshop teammates to learn, share knowledge, and improve team performance. Experience in the automotive sector as a vehicle technician, mechanic, HGV or motor vehicle fitter, electrician, MOT tester, or apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance.




• Must hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.




• Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our Chery dealership in Bristol. The role involves Monday to Friday hours from 8am to 5pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis. You will receive an industry-leading basic salary with a bonus OTE of up to £38,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
