Responsibilities include servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard first time. This involves electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing. Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems. Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment. Understand customer satisfaction and its impact on the business. Operate additional systems such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW). Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards. Work closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.

Qualifications required include holding or working towards completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. An MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required. Candidates should demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge and ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30‑17:00, a 40‑hour week (1 in 3 Saturday mornings, averages out at 41.5 hours per week).

Pay and Benefits include a basic salary starting from £32,000 up to £42,000.
