We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accounts Assistant at our Head Office based in Stratford upon Avon. This role would suit someone passionate about carving out a career in finance with ambitions ultimately to become a qualified accountant or are perhaps already in the early stages of this. Full training will be given together with an opportunity to develop skills across all areas of the accounting function.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Verifying vehicle invoicing, costing and resulting profit.
  • Administering internal vehicle transfers and vehicle status changes.
  • Support in balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Raising and following up queries with dealerships to ensure the completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Ad hoc duties in support of the Accounts Team.

About you

The ideal candidate will have worked previously as a Trainee Accounts Assistant or is looking to take their first step into a career in Accounts. The successful applicant will ideally have a general understanding of accounts, a strong desire to pursue a career in Finance, be commercially minded and possess strong numeracy and administration skills. You will need to be a highly motivated & enthusiastic individual with excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel, and be educated to a minimum of 'A' Level or equivalent standard. Excellent references will be required.
