Sales Development Manager

In recent years, the Listers portfolio has grown and developed extensively. Due to this continued expansion and a recent internal promotion, we have the need for a Sales Development Manager reporting to the Head of F&I . The role will predominantly cover our Warwickshire & Worcestershire dealerships and the surrounding areas. Ideally, the successful candidate will be within a one-hour commutable distance of these locations.

Excellent salary, bonus & benefits, with Car OTE £70,000.

The role of a Sales Development Manager includes the recruitment, induction, development, performance management, and coaching of our Retail Managers and Sales Executives within our dealerships, ensuring the progressive performance of Retail Sales, Customer Retention, and Finance and Insurance Sales across a designated portfolio of businesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment, induction, and training.
2. Development and performance management.
3. Management and development of customer retention strategies.
4. Development of online sales enquiries within the sites.
5. Achieving your region\’s monthly sales and income plans.
6. Ensuring regulatory compliance, including the Financial Conduct Authority.
7. Sales process development and compliance.

We are looking for:

• A track record of previous outstanding performances.
• A strong mentor, leader, and coach.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• An articulate communicator.
• An individual motivated to achieve results.

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in Retail or Finance and Insurance sales, with experience as a Brand Manager, Sales Manager, or Business Manager.

You should also come from either a Motor Dealer Group or Finance Company background.
