We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join our Toyota Dealership in Grantham. This full-time role involves working an average of 5 days per week, between Monday and Sunday, from 08:30 to 18:00, based on a 40-hour week. You will work on a rota that includes one weekday off each week and alternate weekends off.
The ideal candidate will have a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets for new and used cars within operational and financial guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities- Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations to ensure an industry-leading buying experience.
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Support daily sales operations, including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, and vehicle preparation, while maintaining stock levels.
- Drive sales processes and support the team in achieving KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to meet sales and profit forecasts.
- Accurately complete all sales paperwork and provide reports on sales activities, ensuring accurate forecasts.
- Ensure the sales team collects and maintains customer contact and vehicle data to maximize database quality, adhering to FCA obligations.
