An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rural Secretary to join our team with responsibility for providing high quality administrative support to our multi-disciplined team. You will work closely with our Chartered Surveyors (and Graduates) supporting them with a variety of administrative tasks. This is a part-time position, working up to 24 hours per week across four or five days (Monday to Friday).
As Secretary/Administrator you will assist the Lister Haigh team in all aspects of administrative work in order to ensure our clients' needs are serviced in a timely manner. You must have excellent telephone and communication skills and the ability to manage changing demands. As a point of contact for clients, you will be expected to form good relationships in order to maintain our customer base. A high level of accuracy is required to ensure documents are fit for purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate typing and interpretation of written notes and audio recordings relating to reports, letters, and valuations as required by the team.
- Processing and responding to telephone and email enquiries within a timely manner, signposting to the relevant people where required.
- Drafting of dictated invoices for work carried out as required by the team using Core Time and Word.
- Build excellent relationships with clients in order to act as a point of contact by resolving enquiries efficiently.
- Ensure the efficient filing of all documents relating to the department in order to ensure compliance with GDPR.
