We’re looking for a Patient Access Officer to join the team at The Wilmslow Hospital, Cheshire SK9 1NY. As a Patient Access Officer, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome at reception. Your role will involve delivering a high standard of customer care while managing a busy front desk, handling patient check-ins, and assisting with enquiries. In addition, you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to support consultants and third parties, ensuring the smooth coordination of the patient journey. This is a front-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a high volume of activity while maintaining a 5-star, world-class service.

What You’ll Do
- Work closely with The Patient Experience Manager and the Clinical Services Manager to ensure 5* excellence across the facility
- Forming part of the Front of House team, being the first point of contact for patients, Consultants and visitors
- Dealing with enquiries in person, via telephone and email
- Carrying out a variety of administrative tasks

- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 1 in 6 Saturdays
- Shifts on rotational basis: 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm
- Salary: £26,052 per annum
