Every improvement we make in people, performance and culture ultimately contributes to better patient outcomes.
In this role, you’ll operate with credibility and confidence, using exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills to partner at senior levels. You’ll be comfortable navigating complexity, anticipating challenges, and shaping proactive people strategies that support long‑term business goals.

- Coach and influence leaders to anticipate organisational challenges, build capability and drive high‑performance cultures.
- Lead and support change programmes, including restructures, organisational design, TUPE, transformation and capability uplift.
- Champion the employee engagement agenda, ensuring action plans are implemented and leaders are supported to drive meaningful improvements.
- Lead succession planning, talent identification and capability development for specialist and leadership roles.
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and confident decision‑making.
- Oversee HR service delivery for the business area, ensuring a responsive, proactive and high‑quality experience for leaders and colleagues.

- Support the consistent application and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes across the business area.
Culture & General Duties
- Embed HCA UK’s mission and values, supporting a culture of fairness, compassion, integrity and accountability.
- Present to senior stakeholders, take an active role in leadership forums and deputise for the CHRO where appropriate.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree‑level education (or equivalent).
- Full CIPD qualification.
- Experience operating at both strategic and operational levels within a large, complex corporate environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner confidently with senior leaders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrable experience partnering senior teams in fast‑moving environments.
- Proven project management capability with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of HR policy, employment legislation and best practice.
- Experience advising on and managing complex employee relations matters.
- Experience leading or supporting transformation and change programmes, including organisational redesign.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyse people data to provide insight and drive action.
