CSSD Technician at The Harley Street Clinic, London
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. A mixture of early and late shifts between 07:30 and 21:00, Monday - Saturday (working 5 days). Permanent. Competitive salary (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out decontamination processes including disassembly, cleaning, sterilisation, and reassembly of medical devices
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems
- Support and guide Apprentice CSSD Technicians in daily activities
- Maintain accurate tracking records using HESSDA systems and monitor stock levels
- Communicate with clinical teams and escalade non‑conformance issues appropriately
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working in a decontamination / sterile services environment
- Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation of medical devices
- Understanding of infection control, COSHH, HTM guidelines, and ISO standards
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures accurately and escalade faults appropriately
- NVQ Level 3 in Decontamination Science (or equivalent experience)
