Role: Senior Specialist Pharmacist (Oncology & Haematology)

Site: The Harley Street Clinic & Leaders in Oncology Care, Central London

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, with contribution to on-call and weekend requirements

Contract Type: Fixed Term - Maternity Cover

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist Pharmacist with specialist experience in Oncology and Haematology to join our Pharmacy Team at our Leaders in Oncology Care site, currently rated "Outstanding’’ by the CQC. Our flagship hospital and outpatient centre in Central London is dedicated to carrying out innovative, inpatient and day‑case cancer treatment. It's fully equipped to deliver a range of cancer treatments in calm and comfortable surroundings.

As a Senior Specialist in Oncology and Haematology, you will participate in the delivery, management, and development of a high quality, proactive, cost effective, safe and responsive patient‑centric systemic anti‑cancer (SACT) pharmacy service. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology and haematology.

What You’ll Bring

  • MPharm or equivalent
  • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or willing to work towards
  • Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards
  • Previous experience of working in Oncology and haematology to an advanced level
  • Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP
