Contract Type: Temporary to cover Maternity Leave until 7th January 2028
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with contributions to weekend and on‑call rota

HCA Healthcare UK is recruiting for a Lead Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our Oncology pharmacy team based at The Harley Street Clinic, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Located in London’s medical district, our hospital offers an exceptional patient‑centred service across a world‑renowned campus that includes several centres of excellence in Oncology, Cardiology, Diagnostics and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of oncology pharmacists covering highly specialist and complex patients
- Leading service and professional development, governance, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Acting as a key stakeholder for relevant Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs)
- Designing and providing training, education and mentorship to pharmacists and technical staff
- Delivering a safe and effective, quality‑driven pharmacy service and covering for the Deputy Pharmacy Manager as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
- Postgraduate diploma in a relevant field
- Registration with the GPhC
- Independent Prescriber certification
- Specialist knowledge and experience within Oncology and Cancer Services in a hospital setting
- Experience leading a team of pharmacists
