Overview
Staff Nurse – Outpatients, London: Elstree Waterfront Outpatients Centre, Part of The Wellington Hospital. Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Unit is open 8:00–20:00 (Mon–Fri) and 8:00–13:00 (Sat). Fixed term contract until March 2027. Competitive salary plus enhancements and benefits. The Outpatients Centre is currently rated “Good” by the CQC. You’ll be based at the Elstree Waterfront Outpatients Centre, a calm and well organised setting with a small and supportive team. The centre covers a wide range of specialties and benefits from free onsite parking and access to an onsite 3T MRI scanner. It’s a friendly environment where colleagues work closely together, supported by the wider hospital group.
Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse – Outpatients, you’ll be part of a team that supports a variety of clinics, offering nursing expertise across multiple specialisms. Day to day you’ll carry out ECGs, bloods, wound care, dressings and pre‑assessment, adapting to the needs of the clinic you’re working with. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the centre, including the radiography team, and contribute to maintaining high standards of care and a positive experience for all who visit us.
