This will help you answer questions confidently and show that you're ready to jump in.

Showcase Your Experience

Prepare specific examples from your previous roles that highlight your experience in patient-centred care and teamwork. Think about times when you went above and beyond for a patient or worked effectively within a multidisciplinary team. This will demonstrate your commitment to high-quality clinical care.

Ask Insightful Questions

Come prepared with questions that show your interest in the role and the organisation. You might ask about the training opportunities available for procedures like cannulation or how the team collaborates to ensure patient flow. This not only shows your enthusiasm but also helps you gauge if the environment is right for you.

Be Ready for Practical Scenarios

Since this role involves hands-on clinical duties, be prepared for scenario-based questions. Think through how you would handle specific situations, such as managing a patient’s anxiety or responding to a medical emergency. This will help you demonstrate your proactive approach and ability to use your initiative.
