We’re looking for an Endoscopy Lead to join our Nursing Team at The Harborne Hospital. Opened in January 2024, The Harborne Hospital is a purpose‑built, fifty‑bed, multi‑specialty private hospital located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus. As part of HCA Healthcare UK, the hospital combines advanced clinical infrastructure with highly experienced teams to deliver complete clinical pathways across a wide range of specialties.
What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical leadership for the endoscopy service, ensuring high standards of care, governance and clinical effectiveness.
- Act as the endoscopy subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to operational and clinical teams.
- Oversee quality assurance activity, including audits and service improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance with regulatory and professional standards, including CQC and JAG requirements.
- Promote a positive, collaborative culture that supports learning, safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive endoscopy experience within a private or NHS hospital setting.
- Proven experience working in a senior or lead endoscopy role.
- Strong knowledge of JAG accreditation, the Global Rating Scale and audit processes.
- Experience and understanding of endoscopy decontamination standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and analytical approach to problem solving.
