Location: HCA UK at The Shard, Central London, part of London Bridge Campus

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week (either 4 x 0800-1800/1000-2000 or 5 x 7.5 hour shifts) with mandatory early and late shifts

Shifts: Between 0800-2000 Monday-Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Physiotherapist with oncology experience to join the Therapies team at The Shard Outpatients, part of HCA UK and rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. London Bridge Hospital has a central campus of which The Shard Outpatients is the largest of our outpatient centres and our inpatients are based at our Private Care at Guys.

As one of the UK’s most advanced private cancer centres, Private Care at Guy’s brings together state‑of‑the‑art facilities, internationally recognised consultants and multidisciplinary team known for clinical excellence and compassion. Working within a team of 11 therapists at The Shard, you will be one of two Oncology Physiotherapists managing a specialised oncology caseload, delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation to patients with complex needs. You will work with a high level of autonomy and act as a specialist resource within the multidisciplinary team.

Alongside your clinical role, you will support and mentor junior staff, contribute to teaching and service development, and play a key role in growing and enhancing the oncology physiotherapy service.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Relevant postgraduate training in oncology
  • Demonstrable specialist clinical oncology experience within an outpatient setting
  • Experience in managing a specialised caseload with a high level of autonomy
  • Experience supporting or supervising junior staff and/or students
  • Ability to contribute to service development and improvement initiatives
