Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for a diverse patient caseload, including individuals with craniotomies, prolonged intubation, tracheostomy, and cervical spine surgeries.
- Collaborate with the Therapies department and wider multidisciplinary teams (Physio, Dietitians, OT, SLT) with bank colleagues for patient care.
- Upskill in instrumental assessments (FEES and VFSS); clinical supervision available from the wider HCA team of SLTs.
- Work within the bank model offering first refusal on shifts ahead of agencies across the network of leading private hospitals.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship supplied for Bank roles).
- HCPC Registration.
- SALT degree qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
