List Recruitment is supporting Phillips 66 in the recruitment of a number of roles in the North Lincolnshire and Jarrow areas. The Tank Inspector is responsible for Inspection Planning, execution and coordination reporting to Supervisor Inspection - Lindsey.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Mentoring of Trainee/Probationary/Visiting Inspectors
- Drafting of new and amended Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) for authorisation by the Chief Inspector.
- Performance of inspections in accordance with inspection programmes, WSE and inspection procedures.
- Completion of inspection reports and records, including turnaround status logs.
- Other inspection-related tasks as assigned by Supervisor Inspection – Lindsey or Chief Inspector.
- Implement the Inspection Services ISO17020 Management System as described in the current Manual and Procedures.
Education Requirements/Key Skills:
- CIS Qualification Level 3 minimum demonstrated through formally evaluated education, training, and experience.
- Relevant engineering experience.
- Experience within in-service inspection of Atmospheric Storage Tanks.
- Currently certificated to the relevant Industry certifications, e.g. API 653 or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of fixed equipment and associated inspection activities.
- Appropriate Knowledge of Industry Recommended Practices, Codes and Standards and site-specific computer applications.
