The Inspector – Lindsey Site is responsible for Inspection Planning, execution and coordination reporting to Supervisor Inspection - Lindsey.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Mentoring of Trainee/Probationary/Visiting Inspectors
  • Drafting of new and amended Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) for authorisation by the Chief Inspector.
  • Performance of inspections in accordance with inspection programmes, WSE and inspection procedures.
  • Completion of inspection reports and records, including turnaround status logs.
  • Other inspection-related tasks as assigned by Supervisor Inspection – Lindsey or Chief Inspector.
  • Implement the Inspection Services ISO17020 Management System as described in the current Manual and Procedures.

Education Requirements/Key Skills

  • CIS Qualification Level 3 minimum demonstrated through formally evaluated education, training, and experience.
  • Relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience within in-service inspection of pressure equipment & piping.
  • Currently certificated to the relevant Industry certifications. E.g. API 510/API570 or equivalent. Sound knowledge of fixed equipment and associated inspection activities.
  • Appropriate Knowledge of Industry Recommended Practices, Codes and Standards and site-specific computer applications.
