We are supporting our client during a particularly busy period and are looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join the Occupational Health team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy industrial environment, carrying out a range of health surveillance and medical assessments under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
The Role
You will play a key part in ensuring employees in safety-critical roles remain compliant with Company medical standards. Working from daily appointment lists, you will carry out a variety of medical assessments, maintain accurate records, and provide a professional, confidential service at all times.
Key Duties
- Pre-placement medicals
- Drug testing for pre-placement
- Driver medical checks (BP, height, weight, urinalysis)
- Vision testing
- Audiometry and spirometry
- Recording results and ensuring accuracy
- Interacting with employees, visitors, and managers professionally
- Supporting the wider Occupational Health team with reasonable management requests
