What you will do

  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring that all details are handled efficiently and professionally.

Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.

  • Supervise and support event staff, including assigning tasks, providing on-the-job training and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Ensure all guests receive exceptional service. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during events promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and presentation throughout events. Ensure all facilities and equipment are in excellent condition.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Assist in managing event-related inventory, including equipment and supplies. Ensure proper storage and maintenance of all items.
  • Support the Conference & Banqueting Manager in liaising with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.

Assist with pre-event planning and post-event follow-up.
