Working in our Quality Assurance Department, you will play a key part in improving Lisi's Quality Management System. You will be responsible for maintaining the calibration requirements for the factory.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with calibration and verification of measuring and test equipment in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions
  • Learn the principles of measurement, calibration, traceability and equipment control
  • Support the issue, collection and recall of calibrated equipment
  • Maintain calibration records with the company calibration management system
  • Support Measurement Systems Analysis activities
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory/stock levels of measuring and test equipment, raising purchase orders as required
  • Coordinate the dispatch and receipt of equipment requiring external calibration, repair or maintenance
  • Maintain calibration records and certificates from external providers
  • Support the review and filling of calibration certificates within the calibration management system
  • Raise purchase order requests associated with external calibration activities
  • Support AS9100 audits relating to monitoring and measuring equipment
  • Support internal, customer and NADCAP audits by providing calibration records and technical advice
  • Assist with continuous improvement activities liked to measurement systems and calibration processes
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping with the calibration department and ensure calibration standards are protectd and controlled
  • Actively work towards achieving apprenticeship objectives and qualification requirements
