Business Development – Drug Development- Europe
An innovative and specialised contract research organisation (CRO ) is seeking a strategic and scientifically adept individual to join their Commercial, Business Development Team. This role is based in Europe, offering remote work flexibility and requiring travel to engage with clients and participate in industry events. The organisation excels in providing molecular analysis services to the pharmaceutical, bio-tech, and academic sectors, employing advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and emerging trends to proactively discover new business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with KOL\’s
- Generate new business leads
- Represent the company to enhance brand visibility, expand networks, and build professional relationships at international conferences.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and market differentiation.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favourable terms while balancing client satisfaction and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Life sciences)
- At least six years of proven success in business development, sales, or account management roles, within the CRO Market .
- Familiarity with GLP regulations
- Based in Europe, open to travel (20%) with remote working full time
- Knowledge of Molecular analysis techniques, Cell and Gene Therapy
