Salary: Scale 1A Point 3 £24,027 per annum (£12.45 per hour) plus 19% employer contribution Pension

The post holders will be required to complete either a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Horticulture (Sports Turf Greenkeeper) or Level 2 Apprenticeship in Horticulture (Parks, Gardens and Green Spaces) subject to the specific post. The roles will primarily be based working in either LCCC's sports pitches and golf courses or parks, gardens and cemeteries. The roles may also be required to support work in different locations.
As a member of the Parks and Amenities Unit the post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of general maintenance and horticultural duties at various locations throughout the Council area, to include golf courses, public parks, cemeteries, sports facilities, playing fields, landscaped areas and open spaces. Apprenticeship schemes are a great opportunity to combine learning, training and work experience.
