Lisa Wright Recruitment is supporting a client in their search for a proactive Application Support Specialist to join their IT team. You’ll play a key role in supporting and improving the firm’s core legal and business applications, working closely with lawyers, partners, and business support teams.
What you’ll do:
- Provide day-to-day support for applications such as iManage, BigHand, Elite, and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with upgrades, enhancements, testing, and simple configuration tasks.
- Support integrations, data quality checks, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
- Deliver training, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Follow security standards and help maintain access controls and permissions.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in application support, systems support, or technical analyst roles. Professional services experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and clear communication.
- Methodical, organised, and able to manage competing priorities.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of integrations, testing/QA processes, reporting tools (Power BI/SSRS), or PowerShell.
- ITIL Foundation or similar certification.
Working Arrangements:
- Based from Spalding, Birmingham, Nottingham, or Alconbury, with some hybrid working.
- Occasional out-of-hours work for upgrades or critical maintenance.
- Travel to other offices may be required.
