Lisa Wright Recruitment is recruiting a Purchasing Co-ordinator to work for a leading global manufacturer based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all aspects of the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and ordering goods and services for the company
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and identifying potential new suppliers
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
- Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting future demand to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing decisions
