Lisa Wright Recruitment is recruiting a Marketing Assistant for a growing local business in the electrical control and automation sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly marketing team and gain broad marketing experience, with potential to cover the Marketing Coordinator role in the future for further exposure and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise the company website: update products, write SEO-friendly copy, and maintain engaging content
- Support social media management, marketing campaigns, and company events
- Create visual assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Assist with internal communications, enquiries, and proofreading marketing materials
- Produce monthly reports on website and social media performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Hootsuite
Essential Skills:
- Digital marketing experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team player with basic HTML knowledge
- GCSEs in English & Maths (or equivalent)
Desirable Skills:
- Google Analytics and SEO knowledge
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite
- Good general IT skills
