We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Supply Chain Coordinator to join our fast-growing and fast-paced team. The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage end-to-end logistics operations across UK and international markets, ensuring shipments move smoothly, on time, and cost-effectively while building strong relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across UK and international markets.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including imports, exports, customs clearance, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Monitor shipment performance, delivery schedules, inventory movements, and key logistics KPIs including OTIF, dispatch performance, and delivery success rates.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues proactively.
- Obtain freight quotations, manage shipping costs, review supplier invoices, and maintain strong logistics partner relationships.
- Prepare and review shipping and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment logs, and logistics reporting.
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, shortages, damages, and customer delivery queries.
- Support ad-hoc transport requirements, urgent stock transfers, inventory rebalancing, and exception management.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, Incoterms, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Provide regular performance reporting and operational updates to management.
Requirements and Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or import/export coordination.
- Proven experience managing international shipments, multi-carrier networks, and 3PL providers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs regulations, and international trade across UK, EU, US, and APAC markets.
- Experience working in both B2B and B2C logistics environments.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
