Overview

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children's Services team, based in Swansea.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases within CASP, Child Protection, PLO, Court, and Locality teams.
  • Complete assessments of children and families.
  • Support children and families through child protection and court processes.
  • Safeguard children and improve outcomes for families.
  • Work with families and multi-agency professionals.
  • Prepare reports, assessments, and care plans.
  • Follow the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
  • Use a strengths-based, child-focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role you must have

  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience within a Children’s Social Work setting.
  • Relevant post-qualified Social Work experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Right to work in the UK
