The predicted salary is between 41.91 - 41.91 Β£ per hour.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team. This role is based at the Municipal Offices in Blackpool, with some hybrid working at the discretion of the Team Manager. You will work one duty week out of every four, delivering social work support to families across Blackpool to undertake assessments and develop plans to ensure children can live at home safely.

Responsibilities

  • Your role involves working one duty week out of every four, providing social work support to families across Blackpool.
  • You will undertake assessments and develop plans to ensure children can live at home safely.
  • Your responsibilities include completing CAFA, Section 47 enquiries, CIN plans, attending ICPC meetings, and preparing for court applications, including private law reports such as Section 7 and Section 37.
  • You will collaborate with professionals from various agencies, including health, education, police, and youth offending services, to support children and families facing complex challenges.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience as a child care social worker.
  • Ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle for undertaking visits.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in completing assessments, developing plans, and working within a multi-agency framework.
