We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Newcastle Local Authority.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, carrying out assessments and delivering person‑centred interventions to promote independence and improve outcomes.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Complete occupational therapy assessments and reviews.
- Develop and implement person‑centred care and support plans.
- Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and adaptations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records.
- Ensure practice is compliant with relevant legislation and professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience
- To be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience within a local authority or community setting is desirable.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
