Liquid Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Practitionerto join Bolton'sReferral & Assessment Children's Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social work professional who is passionate about safeguarding children and supporting the development of less experienced colleagues within a fast-paced assessment service.
About the Role
The successful candidate will hold a caseload within the Referral & Assessment Service while also providing mentoring and support to Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) and Social Workers within the team.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Managing a varied caseload within a busy Referral & Assessment Service
- Undertaking duty responsibilities
- Completing home visits across the Bolton area
- Providing mentoring and guidance to NQSWs and Social Workers
- Completing assessments, reports and court work
- Working effectively within statutory timescales and deadlines
- Managing Child Protection and Child in Need (CIN) cases
Qualification and Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of3 years' experience as an Advanced Practitioner
- Strong knowledge and experience of:
- Child Protection
- Child in Need (CIN)
- Court work
- Report writing
- Statutory processes and deadlines within an Assessment Service
- Experience supporting and mentoring social work colleagues
- Ability to undertake duty work and home visits
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references
