Role Overview: Liquidnet is seeking an experienced professional with deep electronic execution expertise and strong relationships in European markets. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing new opportunities, cross-selling our electronic trading business, and improving engagement with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electronic trading sales and extensive technical knowledge of algorithms and trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by working with transactional teams to increase the adoption of Liquidnet’s EQS products and services among existing clients.
  • Work with sales teams to create and update EQS collateral.
  • Increase Liquidnet’s client base in the region and re-engage dormant accounts.
  • Help drive the development of messaging, client engagement, and the Liquidnet brand in the region.
  • Collaborate with client-facing and product teams to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative offerings.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Liquidnet products, including awareness of new developments and launches.
  • Operate within the Business Development structure to proactively prospect new opportunities.

Strategic Leadership & Execution:

  • Develop Liquidnet’s client strategy for EQS alongside the Head of EQS.
  • Integrate liquidity, products, services, and distribution channels to optimise access for existing, dormant, and prospective clients.
  • Help drive innovation by proposing new products, services, and revenue diversification initiatives.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Strengthen relationships with asset managers, brokers, and market participants to enhance engagement and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, network with key stakeholders, and represent Liquidnet at academic and professional forums.

Experience / Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of electronic trading and algorithmic trading strategies.
  • Proven experience managing revenue and delivering results with strong commercial impact.
  • Strong relationships and experience with buy-side clients, sell-side firms, and exchanges in EMEA and globally.
  • Detailed knowledge of equities market structure, workflows, and challenges.
  • Outstanding organisational, interpersonal, and people management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams while also exercising sound judgement and working independently.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and driven, with a strong work ethic and positive energy.

Desired:

  • European languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, digital assets, delta-one products, structured products, energy, and commodities.
