Role Overview: The Equity Execution Trader plays a crucial role in establishing Liquidnet as a leading agency equity trading desk in EMEA and globally. The desk manages all Algorithmic, Portfolio, and High Touch trading orders from clients, reporting to the EMEA Head of Trading.
Role Responsibilities:
- Meet trading revenue targets for the EMEA desk and collaborate with other teams and regions to achieve growth.
- Execute all equity orders across EMEA, focusing on single-stock equities, portfolio trading, and ETFs.
- Communicate trading strategies and provide real-time monitoring and customer service for algo orders.
- Analyze pre-trade and post-trade reports and leverage resources to grow the business.
Experience / Competences:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Equity Trader or Sales Trader, with preferred experience in program and algorithmic trading.
- Proven track record in selling to institutional clients and achieving revenue goals.
- Knowledge of quantitative trading strategies, TCA, and market structure.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High energy, self-motivated, responsible, and able to travel as needed.
