The Payroll Team sits within the EMEA Finance Team. Day to day role includes processing of the monthly payrolls within the team, working through input and liaising on the progress of work to ensure deadlines are met. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all company payrolls.
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff, management and HR relating to non-UK transfers.
  • Ensure all international relocations and assignments are processed correctly on Workday.
  • Provide first line of support to the Payroll Administrator in processing all monthly payrolls.
  • Support the end to end processing of company monthly payrolls.
  • Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries, escalating when necessary.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure accuracy of employee data.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc reporting and projects when required.

Experience/Competencies

Essential:

  • Experience of running in-house large/complex payroll system.
  • Strong understanding of UK PAYE requirements and principles.
  • Experience of working with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Detailed knowledge of key global mobility processes with respect to payroll matters.
  • Experience of dealing with complex employee queries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work with & manipulate large datasets.
  • Ability to analyse problems, propose remedies and implement a solution.
  • Ability to react to changing requirements and adjust processes and approach.
  • Ability to recognise what needs to be done and complete with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong personal organisational and project management skills.

  • Experience working in the financial services sector.
