The Connectivity Engineer (CE) will design, develop, support and enhance client facing and outbound connectivity platform. CE will contribute to the design and improvement of the automation testing framework for connectivity platform. CE will serve as third tier support for connectivity production issues and will work with Product Support and Product teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, development, support and enhancement of client facing and outbound connectivity services.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of the automation testing framework for connectivity platform.
- Contribute to functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of connectivity applications.
- Serve as third-tier support for production issues and related support needs.
Experience / Competences:
Essential
- 5+ years of software development experience within electronic trading or electronic trading system provider, preferably specializing in connectivity solutions.
- 5+ years of experience programming using Java on Linux platform. FIX Protocol working knowledge is required.
- Proficiency with computer technologies including Linux, SQL, Messaging & Distributed Systems, Python development.
Non Essential
- Experience supporting low latency trading systems built with C++ or similar programming language.
- Experience with supporting trading of Exchange Traded Derivatives instruments.
Risk Responsibilities:
