Role Overview
Regulators globally have an increasing expectation that firms have adequate systems and controls in place to mitigate against Record Keeping & Market Abuse Risk such as Insider Dealing, Market Manipulation and Dissemination. Communication Surveillance and Mobile Capture capabilities are at the forefront of internal and external regulatory enquiries. We are looking for a Business Analyst to support TP ICAP’s Communication Surveillance Tech Programme.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the Product Owner on delivering the Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, and Key Performance Indicators for Products owned by Compliance Technology, such as TeleMessage, Global Relay and Scila.
- Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure the right deliverables are correctly prioritised and user stories are clearly defined.
- Supporting delivery and execution of sprints, milestones, and goals.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across Technology, Compliance, Legal, Front Office, and other key business partners.
- Maintaining product documentation, monitor KPIs and ensure successful delivery of product objectives.
- Assist in incident management and reporting, including drafting communications and co-ordinating updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Supporting the Product Owner in backlog management including user story definition, capacity management, and maintaining a clear prioritisation criteria.
- Operating controls owned by Compliance Technology, and continuously enhancing them.
- Conduct routine testing on platforms to ensure data integrity and archiving/storage is adequate.
- Support the Product Owner in ensuring the Business Communication channels are appropriately governed and monitored.
- Support the Product Owner in monitoring and tracking issues, risks and dependencies and ensure the Team is kept appraised of the status of the assigned projects and activities.
- Liaison between IT & Compliance on a day to day basis, supporting all daily queries and managing vendor support.
Experience / Competencies
Essential- Proven experience working in project coordination or management within a financial services environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint based delivery.
- Experience with incident response and control automation tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment within the Financial Services industry.
- Keen interest in existing and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks/deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning experience in a Compliance Technology context.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
