We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our automotive sector across Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading automotive manufacturers, dealer groups and key industry stakeholders, developing long-term relationships and driving commercial success within a growing and dynamic market.
The Role - Business Development Manager
- Drive new business growth across the automotive sector in Ireland.
- Develop and manage relationships with automotive manufacturers (OEMs), dealer groups and key decision-makers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and strategic account management.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from initial contact through to contract completion.
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and trial programmes.
- Create tailored commercial proposals and support national account growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and business reporting.
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings.
What You Will Need In The Role Of Business Development Manager
- Proven experience in business development, account management or B2B sales.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience developing new business opportunities and managing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver growth.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.

- Experience within the automotive sector would be advantageous.
