As a Parts Operative, you will have excellent organisation skills and a great eye for detail. You will ensure stock levels are maintained so that Liquidline can continue to deliver WOW customer service through great products, and ‘on time’ delivery. You will be confident at managing parts data, and ensuring this is accurately recorded in the ERP system. Planning and organisational skills are a key element of the role, and will be required to support with avoiding any unforeseen circumstances.

The Role – Parts Operative

  • To ensure stock levels of parts are checked and maintained on internal stock monitoring systems, to ensure we are forward thinking and planning ahead.
  • To ensure effective parts ordering and delivery to ensure other departments in the organisation can stick to their SLAs.
  • To ensure all parts data is accurately recorded on the ERP system.
  • To build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments, supporting regarding stock levels and/or parts needs.
  • To ensure that data is managed effectively, and is communicated to relevant teams where necessary.
  • To pick, and pack parts for Field based Engineers – ensuring these are sent via Bybox and reaches them within the timeframe needed.
  • To manage and update set re-order points on the system as demand for parts changes.
  • Supporting the Hub Team with other duties when required: Loading and unloading goods, checking in goods and storing them effectively.
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised.
  • Liaising regularly with internal departments.
  • Comply at all times with health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all equipment and parts are processed through the warehouse within the turn‑around times.
  • To attend all team meetings and contribute effectively.
  • Supporting with builds and PDIs of machines in the timelines provided.

What You Will Need In The Role Of Parts Operative

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of using MS Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work with figures, and experience in updating systems with accurate data (this would be an advantage to your application).
  • Tenacious to get things done, and be responsive to deadlines where needed.
  • IT proficient. If you have used bespoke systems previously, this will be an advantage to your application.
